It all begins with pursuit of beauty

In the 1950s, salon parties of all kinds were very popular in European high society. The most in hairstyles for women were wavy perm, and classic bun; and for men, slicked back hair style was the thing. Ladies and gentlemen at that time used a lot of grease-based styling products to achieve meticulously perfect hairstyle that may make them look noble and exquisite.

Extended use of styling product, compounded with often belated cleaning, imposed huge pressure on the scalp, and hence various hair care problems. And there did not exist a product that could single-handedly manage all hair care needs.

This caught the attention of Dr. Johannes, a biologist, and he brought forth the concept of “customized precise hair care”. According to Dr. Johannes, hair care solutions should be tailored in light of hair types, which was the only way to meet the customers' needs. This innovative hair care concept of DR. Johannes's was a challenge to the traditional ideas of hair care, and was well received in the professional hair beauty industry in Europe.

In order to further explore the idea of “customized precise hair care”, DR. Johannes was engaged by the European Association of Professional Hairdressing Salons as a scientific research representative to establish Intercasmo International R&D center in Lausanne, Switzerland, to pursue in-depth research in beauty, hairdressing, health and biological sciences. As the concept of “customized precise hair care” became popular in Europe and the United States, more and more hair care brands there begun to take the road of customized hair care by developing tailor-made products.

In 2004, the concept of precise hair care was introduced to Asia. After researching on the daily hair care methods of Asians and the causes of different hair problems in cities, Intercasmo International developed Swisson, a professional hair care brand for women in the Eastern world that could address hair problems from their every roots. Each product under the brand has its own precise positioning and excellent results, providing each customer with a custom-level care solution. Swisson, which has pioneered the precise care mode of "Two Washes and One Care" in Asia, is an advocate of the idea of customized hair beauty, and of the life style characterized with healthy wash and care.
