P.H.D La Fantaine was a famous Parisian doctor and pharmacist who had a life-long love of white camellia. After discovering the magic effect of white camellia in beauty and in care of scalp and hair, he further developed proper formula and application technologies.

 

In 1986, P.H.D La Fantaine created the Chiemo brand that relied on white camellia flowers, and exclusive customized services under the brand were offered only in high-end hair salons and clubs where celebrities converged. The main ingredients of the products, polyphenol and essential oil extracted from white camellia, were extremely rare due to the low extraction rate as allowed by the technologies at that time.

In 2005, Intercasmo International jointed effort with P.H.D La Fantaine to find ways to increase the supply of this rare products. Later breakthrough came in extraction science and technologies, which increased the output of the rare white camellia essences to such level to meet the needs of many more people. It was at that time that the two parties began to consider to introduce Chiemo to China as a key market.

In 2009, Chiemo began its operation in China, and its unique charm made it popular soon after its products were launched.

In 2013, Chiemo adopted updated science and technologies to further improve its formula in search of more perfect quality.
